Southwark is an inner London borough. The borough has no designated greenbelt land within its 2,885 hectare (11.14 square mile) area. However, 16.40% of the borough is Metropolitan Open Land.

The borough has 48 conservation areas, with a total area of around 757.49 hectares. That's around 26.25% of the borough's total area.

The council is currently under Labour control and in 2018 had an approximate population of 317,260.

Small Sites
